Created a network from ground up, have a Samba Server running on Ubuntu Deskptop 9.04, added 8 GB of memory, 1.5 Tb hard drive, backing up my personal laptop,desktop and Work Laptop to the Samba server. Installed Sun Virtual Box 3.0, have created virtual machines Windows XP,Vista,WIndows 7 and windows server 2008 32 bit, Vyatta Router . Configuring 3 Cisco 3600 Routers and 2900 switches to create a network environment to learn and practise all possible of the Cisco Commands,protocols and the like. 

 

Planning and working on creating a virtual network which is live and can be updated, edited or changed on the fly. Basically to learn and let people learn the basic concept of networking, especially Cisco commands, the physical layout and how each component of the cisco network(hard ware like Switch , router). The different parts will be explained and shown how they work. Will also use the Vyatta Software virtual machine as a Router and firewall.
